Sound Healing, Poetry, Art Making, and Listening | Kilbourn Reservoir Park

Out There is teaming up with DK Nutz Community Art to present a mixed genre, mixed medium, participatory show at Kilbourn Reservoir Park in Riverwest. Head to the top of the hill on May 30th, at 2:30pm for a sound healing session, art making, poetry writing, and music.

DK Nutz Community Art

an artist collective that hosts free Guided Open Drawing sessions and happenings that support lateral learning and sharing. Co-founded by Alec Dolter, (the late) Thad Kellstadt, Caitlin Rooney and Jackie Valadez in the winter of 2023 – DK Nutz Community Art has since welcomed Jacob Mumford as a core facilitator.

DK Nutz Community Art values decompression via self expression and brings together individuals of varying ages, backgrounds and disciplines in alternative, non-institutionalized spaces across the city of Milwaukee, WI. The open forum nature of a DK Nutz Community Art session gives way to experimentation and fun.

Parisa Shirazi Chavoya

a certified yoga, reiki energy healing, and sound meditation guide. She founded Parisa Yoga Shala in 2022 with the dream of supporting her community with their wellness and healing journey through accessible & trauma-informed embodiment practices.

Parisa loves using the power of her voice, healing vibrations, and the sacred practices to guide people through journeys of self-discovery and deep rest.

Anja Notanja Sieger

an analog poet-artist dedicated to reviving digitally exhausted audiences. She holds 15 years of professional experience typewriting custom poems for strangers and has been a producer-host at Riverwest Radio for the past decade. Her crossdisciplinary practice has been featured at Grove Gallery, The Pfister Hotel; QWERTYFEST MKE; O, Miami Poetry Festival; Quasimondo Physical Theatre; Milwaukee Opera Theatre; Fringe Fest Milwaukee; 10th Street Theater; Renaissance Theaterworks; St. Kate Arts Hotel; The Museum of Wisconsin Art; and the Walker's Point Center for the Arts.

Queen Méabh

Milwaukee native Queen Méabh began DJing in 2024 with a mission to share the music that reveals who she truly is. Unrestricted by genre she crafts sets that have personal meaning as well as a desire to get people moving on the dance floor. Day dreaming of Parisian discotheques and iconic clubs such as the Paradise Garage, she shares deep grooves with elegant touches every set. She started the alternative queer dance party Out! in 2025. Taking place at the Cactus Club and the Wiggle Room monthly, Méabh brings amazing queer selectors to Milwaukee.
